OPTICARE
Booking system for managing all welfare technology
Today, OptiCare is used by several municipalities across Sweden. Optinet Data has developed the system in collaboration with organizations and entities operating in the welfare and safety technology industry. Some of our customers currently using our system include the City of Gothenburg, the City of Malmö, and the Municipality of Jönköping
The booking system is designed for scheduled installations and assignments, as well as inventory, service, and monitoring. This means that the system handles all welfare technology (or safety technology), such as:
- Electronic locks (e-locks)
- Digital keys
- Safety alarms
- GPS alarms
- Safety cameras
- Medicine robots and other assisting robots
Being able to ensure the entire chain of equipment delivery, installation, service, and retrieval in a safe and time-efficient manner is the core of the system. The system often pays for itself directly, and the normal procurement method is through direct procurement.
The system is currently used by municipalities such as Gothenburg, Malmö, and Jönköping to ensure the management of welfare technology. It also works well for home care, elderly care, and private healthcare providers.
Great emphasis has been placed on ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks and on GDPR compliance since the system handles personal data.
The system is built in accordance with the guidelines of the Swedish Health and Social Care Inspectorate (IVO).

What do our customers say?
Previously, customers have worked with several different systems such as email and Excel, where they have lacked workflow management. By transitioning from multiple systems to using just one program, they save both money, time, and equipment.
Our booking system has helped our customers make their work more secure and ensure that all assignments are completed so that nothing is overlooked. Now they have total overview and control over statistics. This creates a higher level of security both internally and externally towards clients. Additionally, the system supports the implementation of new welfare technology.

Helene Gartzell is working within the OptiCare system.
Before Optinet, we had difficulty monitoring our cases; everything was managed on paper. Since implementing Optinet, we’ve gained more structure and can follow each case until it’s resolved. Previously, our technicians carried paper with their cases, but with Optinet on every technician’s mobile phone, it’s more easily manageable and provides higher confidentiality.
